6 crystals to de-stress before bed

Sometimes you may feel so overwhelmed by what you have to do within a day that you feel stressed – physically and emotionally drained. You crave sleep, but sleep may be elusive – and you don’t feel at all rested when you get up the next morning.

When you get into this state, try holding any of the crystals listed below. Sit quietly holding the chosen crystal in your hand and begin to let yourself relax by becoming more aware of your breathing. Picture it raining outside. Gradually allow time to slow down. Feel yourself becoming more calm and centered inside. Imagine the rain stopping and the sun coming out. Imagine a beautiful rainbow appearing in the sky.

You can practice this effective visualization whenever you feel the need, for a few minutes each day or longer, if you can make more time for yourself.
